DREAM SEASON
Wow, Finally it all came together!!!
I have been waiting to have a year like this my whole life.
I knew at some point all of the hard work and dedication by myself and my crew would pay off.
The year started with a win in a race I have been trying to conquer since its creation, the Intimidator 100.
The following week I set my first ever fast time in a late model at Kalamazoo Speedway, and then the rains came.
In the history of the Kalamazoo Speedway there had never been 4 rainouts in a row, but after the brief break we came back with vengeance.
I had the best summer stretch winning a regular feature event, the All-Star Shootout and the coveted Kalamazoo Klash.
With all of the success at our home track, we also had some good luck traveling too, putting up our 2nd 1-2 finish in the Freedom 100 at Galesburg Speedway.
Spartan Speedway has come to be one of my favorite getaways.
This year I broke the track record, finished 2nd in 2 of the 3 Slugfest events and finished 2nd to my dad in the Slugfest points.
With the consistent finishes all spring and summer it seemed fitting to follow the trend into the fall as well.
For the 3rd year in a row I came away from the Supershoe Nationals as the “Supershoe”, winning the A feature.
